A UVIS is a scanning unit installed flush into the road surface at an entry point. As a vehicle drives slowly over it, high-resolution line-scan cameras build a complete image of the underside, which the operator compares against a stored reference image of that same vehicle. Anything attached, hidden or altered underneath becomes immediately visible. It is used where manual mirror inspection is too slow or unreliable — military and government sites, refineries, ports and high-security industrial entrances.

Modern ANPR reads standard Pakistani plates with high reliability when the camera is correctly positioned, the approach is lit and vehicle speed at the read point is controlled. Accuracy drops with damaged, non-standard, dirty or heavily stylised plates. We address this during the survey by setting the correct mounting angle, adding infrared illumination and defining a controlled read zone, and we always recommend an overview camera alongside the ANPR camera so a human can verify any plate the system flags.
Yes. This is one of the most common uses. Registered plates are stored in a whitelist, and when a matching vehicle approaches, the system triggers the barrier or sliding gate without any card, remote or guard intervention. Unregistered vehicles are held for manual verification, and every read is logged with a timestamp and image.
Remote monitoring means your cameras and alarms are watched from our monitoring facility outside your own working hours. Operators verify alarms, distinguish genuine intrusions from false triggers such as animals or weather, and escalate to your nominated contacts or local police according to the response plan agreed with you.
